Self-Harm & Suicide
Struggling with Suicide and/or self-harm is not something you should go through alone. We will work with you to understand what is going on for you and work toward your goals.
WHY Talk to someone about Suicide and/or Self-harm?
You are not alone in this
Suicide and self-harm are really difficult things to talk about. There is a lot of stigma and judgment, fear and shame. Staying stuck in these difficult emotions and in the pain that comes with this is consuming.
Having a space where you can work towards understanding your suicidality or self-harm more deeply and talk about it more openly takes practice and patiences. But this process can help to make you feel less lonely and more capable.
We approach each persons suicidality and self-harm as unique and while we do use evidenced based approaches like CAMS and DBT, your sessions will be unique and guided by your suicide and/or self-harm drivers.

The support you need
Working towards your goals.
We talk to a lot of people who are suicidal, or self-harming. We will create space for you and your goals, and your unique experience. Everyone is lead to suicide and self-harm by different things and we want to understand you. We will help you find the words to describe your experience, and the skills necessary to make change.

“Sometimes it’s because I feel so awful, or ashamed, and I need to make physical what I feel,” he began, and glanced at me before looking down again. “And sometimes it’s because I feel so many things and I need to feel nothing at all — it helps clear them away. And sometimes it’s because I feel happy, and I have to remind myself that I shouldn’t.”
