WHY substance use Therapy

Clarifying and Reaching for your Goals

We understanding your relationship with substances is unique and there is not a one size fits all approach. We will work with you to understand what you want to achieve, whether it is stopping substances, or managing your use better.

We also will work with you to understand how substances and pornography are showing up in your daily life. Are they impacting your sleep, mental health, relationships, job or finances. Clarifying this can help us to determine a path forward that will be meaningful for you.

Talking about hard things

How to talk about substances and/or pornography

We understand that this is a difficult thing to talk about. Often when people come to us they have not spoken with anyone about their use of substance/pornography, or have spoken about it very little. We will support you in navigating the early discomfort of these conversations and help create a space where we can talk openly about it.

Our goal is to work with you to gain a deep understanding of your use. We go beyond discussing coping skills and talk about meaningfully and from a nonjudgmental and compassionate place about these experiences and the changes that you want to see in your life.
